An except from the story: words by Damon Mahoney

Hedgehog boy gently laid the boy on the floor of his tree-house. The boy was trembling in fear and watching him with his big eyes. Hedgehog boy stared at his captive. He was the most beautiful boy he had ever seen. His facial features were lovely and delicate, as was his body. The boy stayed very still and Hedgehog boy was unsure exactly what to do with him. He glanced around and as he did he spied a cat running in the branches outside his doorway. With a fluid motion he pulled the knife from his thigh and threw it at the cat. The cat dropped immediately, its body catching on the branches. Hedgehog boy ran over to it and saw that the knife had gone through its throat. Quickly he pulled the knife out and skinned the cat. He then returned to the tree-house. The pretty boy was staring up at him in horror, a slight moan coming from his lips. His eyes flashed to the knife in terror. Hedgehog boy tied the knife back to his thigh, sat next to the boy and placed the cat skin on his head. Then he untied the boy’s hands.
“There, now you’re a cat.” Hedgehog boy said. “I think I’ll call you Kitty…we should play now.”
“Play?” Kitty asked meekly, staring at his captor in fear.
“Yes, play.” Hedgehog boy then moved closer to Kitty and pushed him down on his back...The squirrels watched from a very safe distace in their branches. They began to jiggle and shake for joy, finally they were safe, HHB had a new friend to "play" with.
