Over the years I have done a lot of commission pieces.  Each piece was created by working from specific ideas and input from the buyer.  Each buyer brings out something a little different in me. Click the thumbnails to open detail pages.

Rob Bittner "The Meaning of Love"

watercolor on watercolor paper 20"x24"
Rob asked me to recreate one of my paintings. I simply love this paintiing, There are no words to describe how good it felt to make again. It is different, but so much better.

Gene Raphael "Liar Liar #2 "

watercolor and quache on paper 30 "x22"
Ralph asked me to recreate one of my most popular paintings with a new face. Its still a little devil, welcome to michive feel. We gave him more subtle horns

Gene Raphael "Archer #3"

watercolor, quache and metallic ink on paper 30 "x22"

Ralph asked me to recreate one of my archer paintings, and this is what happened, i think i like this one better, I love the face and how spooky the background turned out. I was really into this one

Brian Bloom's portrait
watercolor on primed canvas, 2 panels = 24" x 72"

I admire anyone with enough balls to put a giant portrait of themselves in their living room. If i could i would
It seemed like an affrication of who he wanted to be, and one can not be who they want till they decide. Its a very pretty atmospheric piece.

Michael Minson's "Moment of Zen"

3 canvas panels each 24"x36"

This large triptych sits in his living room entertaining many who pass through his home. It is the most peaceful painting I've ever made. All the image ideas are his though.

Bob and Aaron's "Two Kinds of Love"

Diptych Watercolor, acrylic and color pencil, on paper fixed on board, each panel 15"x15 This drawing is a lovely dedication to a couples love for one another, I was proud to try to capture that for them.

Mathew Irwin's "place-moi comme un cachet sur ton le coeur"

Acrylic on Canvas, 22"x28"

This painting was very much about Mathews life, he gave me the layout and the images and symbols that he identified with from his past. He also had his own canvas made for the project. It was special to him, and it was a pleasure getting to know him.

Jon James's "Remember"

Acrylic on Canvas, 36"x24"

This image comes from a small sketch that I had made, Mr. James liked the sketch so much that he wanted it made into a painting ... the depth in this piece amazing, and imagery well oddly amusing is very physiological provoking.

Bruce Neumeier's "Suspension of Fate"

#2 Acrylic, 6'x3', huge, huge painting for me.

A large scale remake of a sold painting that Bruce was really drawn to, but he need it to be much larger than the original, it's amazing to see on the big green wall in their home.

Derek Peel's portrait.

Acrylic on canvas, 24"x24",

This painting is a very romantic image of Derek, His eyes speak volumes. I saw him as boy searching for something. I do not know what that "something" is but I have a few ideas. Good luck Derek.
